Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Programme
KKCE has been conducting the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program (affiliated to the University of Mumbai) since the year 1962. To date, the institution has provided more than 5000 quality teachers to the field of education. Till the academic year 2014 – 2015, the B.Ed. course was a one-year program. In 2015, the University moved to a two-year program with four semesters.
NCTE has given recognition to KKCE to run two units of 50 students each. Presently, only one unit of 50 students is functioning.
Duration of the Course: As per the Ordinances, the duration of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Program from the year 2017-2018 will be of two years as Credit Based Choice System comprising of four semesters. The B.Ed Programme shall be of duration of two years, which can be completed in a maximum period of three years from the date of admission to the program.

Admission to the Course: Being a linguistic minority institution, 50% seats are reserved for Gujarati linguistic minority students. However, all admissions to the course are centralized.
